I'm printing very nicely on a glass bed with hairspray, at 185 degrees Celsius. It's pure white and very even. Look at my pictures, this is the straightest wound roll of filament I've ever seen.... EVER. You won't regret it, affordable and great value!

Prints very well, no issues and comparable to much more expensive filament. Also much less glossy than the Hatchbox filament, which is not really a pro or a con but a matter of preference and I like to have both.

I've printed many parts (using about a dozen different varieties of PLA from various vendors) and this is the best I've seen so far. Great adhesion, precise diameter, and a nice, more-matte-than-glossy white color. Even the spool is precisely wound.

Out of about 3 other brands that I've bought, this Comgrow is the best so far. The spool is wrapped perfectly and doesn't bind at all (compared to my other spools). The PLA itself is very good, I usually run 190 degrees on my Ender 3.

This was the first PLA I ordered with my printer. It was nicely wound, well packed and prints nicely. When I ran temperature tests it was fine across the board. I have printed through about 2/3 of the roll. I liked it so much I ordered their white. No issues with that so far. When I run out of blue I will likely reorder this spool!

WoW I never new this kind of incredible winding of the filament was a real thing. To my surprise it's actually Creality filament that's one of my favourite colors. The predictability of the filament is spectacular everytime I have gotten excellent layer adhiesion with a nice clean finish. Why oh why didn't I order more at that crazy low price when the discount was on.

It came vacuum packed, which is nice so that the plastic retains it's elasticity incase I don't use it immediately. I've been using it over the past couple days, on my 5th print so far, and no faults at all. Works great. Will buy more once I run out.

I wanted to try out other low-cost filaments other than my favorite Sunlu brand. I have gotten excellent results from the white filament and is actually a much brighter white than the Sunlu PLA+ version I have been using. I will be trying other colors of this brand as an alternative and adding this to my re-purchase list.

Install Flash Player Before getting to the Comgrow filament review, I would like to point out that while filament quality do affect the quality of your prints, filament quality can only be assessed if the following has been done: 1) Your printer has been properly assembled (i.e., all parts aligned, leveled, no hardware issues, etc.) and 2) Your slicer settings are optimized for the filament you are using I believe that if the 2 criteria listed above are achieved, most filaments will yield adequate print results, however, some will provide better quality than others. In this review, I will be comparing my observations of this Comgrow filament (tested white, black and blue) vs AmazonBasic’s regular PLA filaments (tried black, white, gray, blue, and red). Key differences are noted below. Comgrow Advertised accuracy: 0.02 mm Advertised temp: 180-210 C Texture: smooth filament Spool: consistently wound, layered Packaging: vacuum sealed w/ desiccant Finish: shinier/glossier than AmazonBasic’s filaments Odor: none Printing: machine sounds smooth, effortless printing (subjective observation), more under extrusion observed vs over extrusion (fixable with splicer settings) Pros: price point is reasonable ($17.99 at the time of this review), prints really well, no residue on the retractor/filament feeder/extruder Cons: few color selection (currently only black and white… I was able to order the blue when it first came out) AmazonBasic’s Advertised accuracy: 0.05 mm Advertised temp: 190-220 C Texture: textured/grainy filament to the touch Spool: not as nicely wound/layered like Comgrow’s Packaging: vacuum sealed w/ desiccant Finish: not shiny or glossy, more like a chalky finish Odor: none Printing: machine sounds like it’s working harder to print, more issues with over extrusion than under extrusion (which can be fixed with slicer settings) Pros: price point is very good for bulk orders (3-pack and 5-packs have averaged me at $10-13 a spool) Cons: so far, print quality is just okay. It’s not bad, but nothing I was in awe about (subjective). Noticeable residue on extruder (see images) CONCLUSION: when slicer settings are optimized, the Comgrow filaments provide very good prints (better that AmazonBasics in my opinion) Comments regarding photos: 1. Everything in the pictures were printed with Comgrow’s filaments, except the Julius Caesar on the RIGHT 2. The black dog was the first thing I printed after setting up my Ender 3 (no optimizing whatsoever) 3. The residue on the extruder is from AmazonBasic's white filament 4. I accidentally broke Monkey D. Luffy’s leg while removing the supports :(

It's good PLA. Has a nice matte finish and is fairly transparent at low levels. I've been looking for filament that is transparent enough for printing lithophanes and prints them very well.
